dude TALK TO HER ..i got the same situation i want to go to homecomming but hes not asking nd it sux so ASK HER if its he last thing u do nd if she says no a little regection never hurt anybody

talk to her about the homework or the class or the school. anything. be like "do you think we'll have a good football season this year?" or something like that. at least you have school in common.
