Yes, it does. I used to do that. Meaning that I would wash my hair and then had it dyed. It is not recommended however, because your hair is more vulnerable to damage when it is wet and exposed to a chemical.

You can not use it on wet hair, it has to be dry.

When you put color on wet hair it is basicly like mixing water & hair color, the water weaken the color.

The hair has to be completely dry to absorb into the hair.

I think that most hair dyes require for your hair to be dry if it is an at home dye, but the salon dyes, they are different and require you to mix color with a developer. For those you have to have wet hair.

I used to have hair die that would only work if your hair was wet, I guess the answer to your question is yes. I think some hair dies will work with wet hair.

yes, I am a cosmetologist, we have had people wash their hair before coming in, and we have dried it for them. Optimally your hair should be dry, and you should not have it freshly shampooed for the plain simple fact the color could irritate the scalp, that you have just scrubbed.

Hay, I think you have "dyed" and not "died" your hair ... humm?

Well, it depends on the formula. Water based formula colours shall work better with wet here.
