Each state is apparently different... check the link below for the Michigan DMV site. I know in Alabama the amount of the registration depends on the year of car, wheather it was used/new, just prices varies. Just contact ur DMV for more info.

i think it really depends on the make/model/year/weight of your car.....you should be able to call the Secretary of State in your area and they should be able to tell you......all my cars have had different fees when it came to that, ranging from $50 to $150 for the car i have now....i think the newer cars are more expensive
