2 reasons. One, you are dehydrated. Two, the weather is changing and getting colder and dryer, which makes these things worse.
This started happening to me a while back, and I just got in a habit of taking a drink to bed with me and keeping it on my bedside table. The flip side of this is that you may have to wake up to go.
BTW, no offense meant by this next part, but part of the reason I started dehydrating more quickly at night was because I had put on some weight. I lost it, and it stopped happening so much, but if you weigh more, your body has to use more water to cool off.

Hi, you probably hit the nail on the head... you are sleeping with your mouth open. Has your nose been stopped up? That would cause you to breathe through your mouth at nite...
I do get chapped lips at nite if I don't put some sort of lip balm on before bed. If that still isn't helping, I'm not sure what else to suggest... maybe sleep sitting up a bit, or on 2 pillows so your head is elevated, and you don't get congested. Good luck!

Yeah, I had the same problem also. You are dehydrated first of all. You need to drink lots of water. You should probably take a glass of water with you to bed, so you can drink it in the middle of the night to prevent dehydration. You probably do sleep with your mouth open which does dry your lips out more. I would put carmex or something on your lips before you go to sleep. But, I am no doctor. If you continue to have prblems. I would go to the doctor.

You're not gaay, so quit worrying. If you've recently had the heater turned on in your sleeping area, that's probably the problem My GAWD, does the younger generation think that everything is so gaay! MY older sister's name is Gay (A.) Youtzy. Guess wHAT///* SHE IS A MISSIONARY !!! Try that one out FOR SIZE!
I only believe in GAWD the way she does NOT! YOU ARE GOD, BELIEVE IN YOURSELF AND QUIT SHITTIN' OVER THE LITTLE STUFF! bESIDES, MAYBE SHE IS A "LITTLE" RIGHT, SOMETIMES, NOT OFTEN, THEY DO ANSWER YOUR PRAYERS. JUST BE THE BEST YOU THAT YOU CAN BE. NOBODY COULD ASK FOR MORE, NOT EVEN GOD. TRY ADDING HUMIDITY TO THE AIR THAT YOU BREATHE!

Try a good women's multi vitamin and mineral, and get a good broad spectrum essential fatty acid supplement. Be sure you are getting enough water to drink. Use a chap stick with cocoa butter as the main ingredient.
Try to optimize your diet. Lips are often one of the areas that begin to reflect nutritional deficiencies.

Do you have allergies? Could be, after you fall asleep, you become a 'mouth-breather', 'cause your nose is stuffed up. Try taking a decongestant b4 sleep. Good luck.

You are not drinking anywhere near enough water. The first sign is dry lips. If you aren't experiencing dryness in any other area, you probably don't have a disease. Of course it could be because you are gay.
