ok i like this boy in my grade and hes a pastors son. so he probably wont date me and i dont wanna date him either i just really like him as a friend.but is it a sin to like him i mean he is a pastors son. and what if we dated then if i broke up with him that has to be a sin!please help!do i need to like try to immediately stop likeing him in a MAYBE more than friends way?

No it's not a sin. They are normal people too.
It is a sin to date 2 of the pastor's sons at the same time. My folks got a visit when I stopped going to youth group when broke up with one. I was an ignorant girl - and had caused a lot of trouble in their household.

Let's put it this way - can you imagine a world in which it was a sin to like the child of a pastor, AND a sin to break up with one? No pastor's children would ever have friends, or a date! Everyone would be afraid that saying "hi" to a PK meant you were stuck with him for life.
It's not a sin to like a PK, to get to know him, go out with him, even break up with him. It would be a shame to skip getting to know someone who could turn out to be someone special in your life. Good luck!

First off, it's not a sin to brake-up with a pastors son. Another thing, who cares what his father is! Pastor or not, if he's a half way descent guy, then he would want you two to be happy, meaning together. Babe, you'll never know until you ask. Good Luck!!

it is fine to like a pastors son. in fact my best friend is one, about a year ago we thought it would be a good idea to date each other it didnt work out so I broke it off, a little while later we tried it again, it didnt work so I broke it off again, we did this 1 or 2 more times. and really his dad is still just as nice to me today as he was in preschool when we met, so no i dont see a problem with it.

the fact that he is the pastor's son does not make it a sin. Its also not a sin to date him. Your feelings are not wrong and I am sorry that you have somehow been made to feel that feelings for someone can be a sin.

um, why would it be a sin? pastors and PK's are still human, they have reationships, I know alot of PK's (pastors kids) who have dated, are dateing....jeez, I go to a Christian school hun, it's not a sin. If it was, I'd know like 10 people (5 couples) who would be convicted of that sin....you can like this guy, you can even date him! (if you are allowed ot dat and if his parents are allowed to date, some teens aren't allowed to dat euntill they are 15/16/17 etc.)

Why would he not like you? If there is an attraction,then he will.He is a human too.His father being a pastor has nothing to do with it.And no it is not a sin.
