How was it? Did you have any complications later on resulting from having it later in life?

I had 'em at 40!!! My daughter had a very mild case around age 10. Consequently she caught 'em again from me, at 22!!! Both of us being very ill, is an understatement. Why these diseases are considered childhood diseases!!!
The only complication the doctor said is a def' possibility, of shingles...Around 60'ish+!!! Not that old, yet, LOL!!!

the older u get the worse the chicken pox will effect u

I had it in my early 40s...when my 2 kids got it! I was so sick I wanted to crawl into a hole and die! It was horrible, way worse than my kids' cases. I never got it as a child.

If you haven't gotten it by your late teens, you should get the vaccine, no questions ask. It is annoying to get as a child, but absolutely awful as an adult.
