If it is, based on this scripture, should we execute the people working at McDonald’s or Wal-mart on Sunday?

Numbers 15:32 - 36
While the Israelites were in the desert, a man was found gathering wood on the Sabbath day. Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron and the whole assembly, and they kept him in custody, because it was not clear what should be done to him. Then the LORD said to Moses, “The man must die. The whole assembly must stone him outside the camp.” So the assembly took him outside the camp and stoned him to death, as the LORD commanded Moses.

If it was God's word to strike man for working on certain days, lightning would be hitting a lot more people than it it currently is.

Jesus fulfilled the Law. He IS our Sabbath rest. The Ten Commandments are, as Paul tells us, a tutor, or teacher. It is designed to reveal sin in our lives. "And so the law was our tutor until Christ came, so that we might be justified by faith. But now that this faith has come, we are no longer under the control of a tutor." Galatians 3:24-25)

God doesn't want anyone to be enslaved to a 7 day work week. He wants us to have a rest. We also have been freed from the bondages of the Law as it relates to special days, "Therefore, let no one judge you in matters of food and drink or with respect to a festival, a new moon, or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things to come, but the reality belongs to Christ." (Colossians 2:16-17)

Besides, the Sabbath is Saturday, not Sunday. Do you really want to stone people who work on those days? And if so, then where does it stop? You want us to stone the rebellious son? (Deuteronomy 21:20-22)

Well I see you dont read the bible. Why dont you try reading the New Testement and see what Jesus told the pharsiees about it. I will give you a hint on a word to look up in a concordance. Try the word corn. I guess it would be safe to call you a pharsiee cause you seem to be doing the same thing they done. Read all of God's word not just some of it.

First off, we are no longer under the law,The Law of Moses was written for the Jews and was only to last until the time of Christ. In the Law of Moses, the blood of animals was required to atone for the sins of the people. These sacrifices were temporary. Now, we have the perfect sacrifice. God's only begotten son, being without sin, offered Himself as a sacrifice to forgive sins from the time of His death until His return. When Jesus died on the cross, the temporary Law of Moses was fulfilled and is no longer necessary. Yes every word is true! 2 Timothy 3:16 16All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,

Yet another person who cannot discern the difference between Old and New Testaments. Jesus broke the Sabbath rule! Christians follow Jesus, not the O.T. All of the Old Testament Law was fulfilled through Jesus Christ and is no longer valid.

wow good one and please allow me to tell you what these christians are going to do to you, to confuse you alright!
they will all tell you here and else where that they dont follow the Old Testement any longer and Jesus ushered in the new Testement! but you must remember this is simply for the Christian to have a easy way and very little worship at all.

It is sad really and one should never work on a Sunday for this day you speak of is called the Sabath and you must rest on this day but the dont respect nor worship by the Whole script just what is so convient for them to do very little and to follow very little rules!
also they only call "jesus" name when they are in need!

Yes it is inspired from God, but we aren't to judge anyone, that is up to God, and also we are living in the time of the NT where Jesus says we are to love our neighbors as we love ourselves.

Old testament show us what life was like before Jesus died for our sins. It shows us what life was like when people were living by the law. Jesus abolished that law. He became that law. He became the way to heaven, not the law anymore.
