our dating style goes back to the old movies, or books and waiting for mr charming,and getting mister I enjoyed it, you?, I call you, too (mostly not working),and girls do seem to has the most say if its working,so why dont girls ask a guy who might be a choice for a coffee or soda. most guys are game ,do you you think that it will change I mean the norm, or a couple more generation, when old movies are unplayable,maybe hollywood can change it,hope it not our history.what you think?

Depends a bit on your culture and where you live, as what is considered acceptable in some circles is taboo in others.
I'm a man, and from my position, it is quite flattering when a woman asks me out. But guessing, from a woman's perspective, I'd say the odds greatly improve in you getting what you think you want when you ask for it.

Hi yes I am one of those lone ranger-type girls/women who defies that I have at times been rejected or shall we say turned down...but I didn't take it to heart in actuality in those cases it was for the best. I liked practicing being assertive and wasn't offensive or aggressive mostly the guys were very flattered and many returned my feelings sometimes right away and sometimes it kind of sunk in after. I think the world is becoming more balanced in kinder more equal relations between the sexes where we can meet each other as persons not as genders per say and then really enjoy those trully gender-specific differences :)

I really feel that times are changing and that soon it will be a norm for dating to be initiated from either sex. Why does it really matter, all it takes is for two people to like each other and that is all that is needed to start dating. Really it only takes one person to like any other person for someone to ask someone.

I see nothing wrong with a gal asking a guy out. But then you also have to figure if you ask him out, does the girl pick up the tab or is it split down the middle? Old days, the guy asked the gal out and then picked up the tab.

Yeah i've got been in this difficulty earlier, yet i'm the female. What i individually enjoyed interior the adult males have been their braveness to inquire from me. i know guys like when a girl asks them out b/c it lets then know that they're wanted, but girls want to have the same feeling (not to mention is more common for guys to ask girls). i think it should be half and half, sometimes girls ask guys and other times girls ask the guys.

in this day and age.....yeah they need to, though that usually scares them, be the big brave guy who says yes the next time a woman hits on you. And if you say you will call, CALL!
