I recently got over the guy I had liked for a very long time. In time to relize that I was in love with someone else. He is sweet, caring and funny and makes me laugh. The other guy was mean, lead me on, and played me. I want to be with the other guy but I don't know how to tell him I like him since he knew about the other guy. I am not sure what he will say either. Also, he is a year younger than me. What should I do. Please help.

Since he is aware of your relationship with the nasty guy before, he still treated you are a great friend.. makes you laugh etc. Basically he have some feelings for you and it takes time for him to accept you. On your part, give him your trust, your sincerity and stay close to him. Confide things to him and one day, he would accept you naturally.
Some guys are very particular when comes to age. They are insistant that their gfs must be younger than them. It got to do with ego and pride. Therefore, if he is that type, you have to move on.
Whatever it is, it is better to stay as friend rather than as stranger. Good luck.
