Because religion means power and money, and some people want power and money.
Religion also means easy answers, and a LOT of people want easy answers.
Atheism: the logical choice.

Because the human is a thinking ape. He somewhat understands death and is frightened by it. Some clever people took advantage of this fear, as clever people do, and made up a fairy tale to gather willing followers. I credit the jews, they are geniuses, honestly.

To me it is...I do not like even a word of religion. I believe that Jesus came to the earth to free us from religions. He wanted to teach us to have a personal relationship with God. Religion does not save you, Jesus saves.
