If I were to be a christain would I have to become a complete bible nerd? For saking Rock and Roll? For saking everything that make me me? Do I have to start voting republican now and worshiping Georgew bushes feet? Or can I be me? Or Do
I have to be for everything I'm against once I become christain?

It is not a matter of rules and regulations. It is a matter of the heart. It is not about what I no longer get to do, it is a matter of the stuff that I suddenly can do!
A person doesn't have to get cleaned up to take a bath, and neither does a person have to give up anything to come to Christ. But, for those things in your life that might interfere with God's will for your life, He will work a change of heart in you, that those things won't matter any longer.
Jesus is neither Republican or Democrat. You do not worship any man, whether George Bush or Hillary Clinton. The choices that you make politically should be informed by your faith. But that is between you and God.

What exactly is a Bible Nerd? As for rock and roll, that will depend on your faith, whether it is based on accurate knowledge, and what is found in your heart. Vote Republican, No, since Christians only vote for Christ to be their leader. You can't serve two masters. Christ said not to be involved with the government of the world, I don't think he meant except American. God intends to destroy all the nations of the world, be a part of them and be a part of the destruction. As for being you, how do you know what you are? Like all humans, you use less then 5% of your brain, and you live a pitifully short period of time on this Earth.
After Armageddon, you will have 100% use of your brain and everlasting life on a Paradise Earth to make use of it. You will not only be able to understand the concepts of rock and roll, but also of the music of the universe. You won't have to worry about election or politicians, as God will be your leader. You may have to worry about whether it would be better to visit Alpha Centauri or the Great Ort Cloud first? Also, whether to use a space ship, or to teleport there in person.

Some Christians are democrats, some republicans, some independents. Christianity isn't about politics or what type of music you listen to, although most Christians as they grow in their faith no longer enjoy hearing songs like AC/DC's Highway to Hell and they tend to support candidates that reflect their moral values whether that be to help the poor or to protect the unborn.
I have a lot of fun in my Christian life. The picture I use here was taken on a rafting trip that I went on with my church last year and again this year.

It has nothing to do with being Republican. You may be communist like the first church was for that matter. You certainly would not be worshipping a human being, other than Jesus Christ. You will be what you will be, but if you truly seek, then the Holy Spirit will free you to love God and others without being hindered by self-absorption. Sincerely seek and you will find in God's time. You will be amazed and delighted beyond your ability to imagine.

I'm a Christian, I love Rock in Roll also Punk Rock. I love scary movies Ann Rice. George bush not a big fan. I'm still pretty much me I just love Jesus. Am I a nerd? Maybe but I like me.<><

Just because a person becomes a christian does not mean they lose their personality, opinions or life for that matter. God created them to be an individual and they remain just that.
There is so much stereotyping that goes on and I bet you would be surprised just how cool some christians are. Best company I've ever kept.
