In previous experience it's a good thing. however if it was said by a male friend (ie not dating) on a blokes night out when you got a round in you could have just made yourself one of the lads!

It was meant as a good thing.
Unfortunately, the fact that he makes such poor use of the English language suggests that he's probably not very bright, so in that respect its a bad thing.

Hahaha!! : ) I say that to someone here - she knows who she is. I can honestly say it's a good thing - definitely!! For me, it's saying he or she is unreal and quality, giving that person an exaggerated hero-like status. You're saying that that someone is class, and a top girl or boy, in that you can relate to them and in some ways knowing you are glad to know them. It shows you've made a bit of a name for yourself, and above all, people hold you in high regard. It's street cred, if you like - you're one of them, and it's good.

He probably meant it as a good thing...as in you are a memorable person, but it came out sounding like he thinks you're old. lol Just a guess! Men are clueless, sometimes we just have to excuse them.

its a good thing!! he likes you a lot but doesnt want to seem to overbaring so hes saying to you what he would basically say to any of his male friends.
