I'm 38 years old. I'm about 5 foot 4 and weigh about 150 pounds. I guess I could stand to lose 20. But do you think it makes a difference in someones appearance if they just lose 20 pounds? Can someone actually look better a little heavier. I mean a lot of people tell me I look younger then my age. Can losing weight make someone look older? The reason I ask this question is a girl I know who's only a size 8 wants to lose 20 pounds. Her husband said I'm going to have to start worring about you then?

Extra fat in the face tends to plump up wrinkles and sometimes you can look older when you lose weight but chances are your body will look better. If you are 5-4 and 150 but you have a lot of muscle then you're okay but otherwise probably could stand to lose a few pounds for health reasons not just for looks which are secondary.

Yes, I think people that look a little chubby usually look more youthful. If you want to lose weight, maybe just 10lb instead of 20lb and see how you feel. And it's a shame a girl who is already slim, wants to be so skinny, she obviously has some body image issues. HTH : )

Yes depending on how you lose the weight. You don't want to lose alot of weight and not turn it into mucle because you will just have loose skin and that is not appealing.

You can look beautiful no matter what your dimensions! Weight is just a number! Don't be silly! Look in the mirror and tell yourself you are beautiful!

Weight for health is one thing. Some guys love woman with a few extra pounds. But PERSONALITY counts for more!

She could have been shallow back then in spite of if it doesnt propose she has replaced. Dont do it! stumble on a very sexy, lovley female which you adore and whos extremely into you!! :) be constructive!
