I don't think there is a statistic on Y, I think that is based on who or in your case who does and doesn't show up. You want to do stats here's what you do, go into your community and do a poll, get 1 or 2 friends and ask people do u go to church if they say yeah mark it on paper if they don't ask why (ask them or ask them to write it) get a 100 people to do it and that would represent your population 100% divide up the answers and that would be your generalization. Believe it or not excuses people use for not going to church I'm sure is universal...

just ask why people don't attend church in the polls and surveys section and ask it a bunch of times and use those statistics

if you want reasons, i can give you some now:
1. theyre not cristian
2. they were born into a christan family but do not care anymore
3. they are cristian and wish they werent but havent converted yet
4. they are too lazy

i will tell you why I don't "do" church.... Too many hypocrites,too many ppl who backstab,gossip,look down on others less fortunate,and for the most part...I can decipher the Bible all by myself. i am a big girl,and I don't need to go to church for someone to tell me what the Bible says. That's why i do not go to church.

the catholic church keeps that information under lock and key.
Some reasons are the priests are too phony and the sermons are untimely. And the "basket" comes out more often.
