yes. after, soreness, like if you exercise too much & your muscles hurt, well, your teeth will hurt like that for awhile. not badly or excruciating just sore & dull. good luck.

No!!! I just got braces a week ago and after having 6 teeth removed (4 wisdom teeth) and it did not hurt at all. They are uncomfortable but they do not hurt to get put on. Your teeth become a little sensitive and tender, so you can not eat hard stuff for the first 3 days after having them put on, but normal over the counter pain killers can help with that... Trust me i had six teeth removed and stitches when i had my braces placed on and still did not feel any pain...

friday the 13th has no relevance whatsoever
13 is my lucky number
it doesnt hurt initially when u get them put on, but they will get sore and it will hurt 2 eat any hard foods for about a week or so
when u get them tightened, the same effect happens for a few days

it hurts a little, and they'll be a bit sore for a few days after, but it's worth it. besides, I didn't have a problem with getting them on, I did however, have a problem with them putting this weird wax on my teeth to make a mold of them, be prepared.

i got braces a few years back. after you get them on it takes a while for your lips to get used to new things stuck to your teeth. after the first couple of hours your teeth are really wiggly and EXTREMELY SORE TO TOUCH. Don't touch anything to your teeth unless you are prepared to cry. so eat apple sauce and chocolate pudding. BUT DON'T LET THE SPOON TOUCH YOUR TEETH. oh god...........good luck sleeping. that was the hardest part.

hell yes, had them twice, and they hurt a lot, don't let anyone tell you they dont. after each visit you should expect to be on a soft food diet for at least 36 hours, good luck and i dont envy you! oh! and make sure you stock up on wax!
