Proverbs 2:7-8 says.
He holds victory in store for the upright,
he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless.
For he guards the course of the just
and protects the way of his faithful ones.
Verse 12-15 says.
Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men, from men whose words are perverse,
who leave the straight paths to walk in dark ways. who delight in doing wrong and rejoice in the perverseness on evil,
whose paths are crooked'
and who are devious in their way.
Wisdom is of great value, and more to be desired than gold. The bible says,[ the Lord will give wisdom to who asks]. A wise person is a strong person, stable person, and searched out be others. Wisdom straightens a wandering path, makes us to be careful. The opposite of wisdom would be foolishness. Which one would you chose to survive on in today's world.

It is fulfilling. Just knowing things is a thrill for me. I read a book and look up geographical references. I see a tv show and check out reality. I see things and wonder why and then research to find out. I have done this for years and have had a wonderful time. I hate to waste that rarest of human qualities, a questioning mind. and a desire to gain knowledge.
Hang around on here long enough you will find it is not too important to a lot of people.

It helps me make the right decisions, and discern how I should treat people...it is very imporant for many things! Thank goodness God says that He will automatically give wisdom to any Christian who asks for it (it says it at the beginning of Hebrews or James, I believe)

Wisdom is the compass that provides judgement in the decision making process, as you grow older.
