I can understand your feelings but assassination of Iran's President Ahmadi-Nejad would not be in the best interest of the US at this time.
Also, you must keep in mind that President Ahmadi-Nejad is not the highest official of the Iranian government. He is only elected for a 4 year term. The highest official in the Islamic Republic of Iran is Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei who is appointed for life just as Ayatollah Khomenei was. That is why Iran is a constitutional theocracy.
Furthermore, Ayatollah Khamenei, according to Iran's constitution is the commander-in-chief of the military. That makes Ahmadi-Nejad more of a spokesperson than a real world leader. He has no real power. He is an articulate speaker though and an avid mahdaviat (one who believes in and prepares for the mahdi). Which is probably why he got elected.
The preamble of Iran's constitution states, "The Assembly of Experts...fram[ed] the Constitution...[after input] by the government...with the hope that this century will witness the establishment of a universal holy government and the downfall of all others."
One of the goals of Ayatollah Khamenei is the foundation of a Shiite Islamic khalifah from Iran to Lebanon and then the extablishment of the "universal holy government". Ahmadi-Nejad is small potatoes.

What a grand question and series of answers under the heading of ''Religion & Spirituality.''
But I guess that's the way of things in the Home of the Brave & Land of the Free. The Indians came and sat in Council and received their treaties. So an Iranian Chief, or any Chief come to that, best BEWARE to not go and sit and talk 'PEACE' with white man in Big Council.
Is the word 'Treaty' the code word for 'Betrayal' then?
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I like the guy or his politics or his behaviour, I don't condon anything done by him etc. But, to behave like him (or gangster / terrorist) makes no one better than him.
Sash.

We can't get him here. Diplomatic treaties. We should definitely take him out in Iran. Maybe accidentally a preditor drone could fly in from Afghanistan. What a shame.

Is he really coming HERE? That is incredible!
A few possibly mistranslated statements notwithstanding, my respect for this man grows and grows! Either President Ahmadinijad is a true Muslim, or he's a very brilliant politician.

Do you think that this will make an already bad situation any better? Perhaps we should sit down and talk to the man. Perhaps it may shed some light on why he is so bent on causing trouble with the rest....

We cant arrest him while he is here. Dont know why, just not allowed.
I wish we would take him out while hes here but that would be very bad for us. Think WWIII. We need to take him out but not in America and it needs to look like an accident.
