It'll be easier if you do it the night before.
Anyways, what you do:
Dampened, combed hair, thoroughly apply gel.
Section off small portions of hair and twist tightly around your finger then pin into place with two bobby pins.
Make sure you do them all in the same direction (if you twist clockwise for one, do them all clockwise).
Once all your hair is pinned into place, lightly spray with hairspray (LIGHTLY).
Let hair dry completely then removed pins and separate curls with your fingers.
Smooth fly-aways with gel or mousse if needed.

I suggest you practice before the big day, so you can see what works and what doesn't.

ok, curls usually work best on dry hair, if it's wet it won't hold. however, to make the curls last longer, wash ur hair with Wash & Curl shampoo, but be sure to blow dry. then apply some curling creme. then, using a 1" or larger iron(the larger, the looser the curl) take 1" sections of hair at a time and twirl up, leave in for about 20 sec., and then untwirl. then u can try applying Garnier Fructis Style curl shaping gel, to control frizz and help hold ur style. just use a little tho, so ur hair doesn't get sticky. good luck!

Start by putting light mousse throughout damp hair. If your hair isn't super oily and you can go a day without washing it, do that because the natural oils will help the curls hold. So just dampen by getting your hands wet and running your hands through your hair. Blow dry on warm. Then, take a curling iron (medium to large barrel) and take your time curling each section. You have to be patient with this part. After the curls look like you want them to (you can loosen them after the curling if you want), finish by spraying with a hairspray that is flexible hold, yet will still hold hair in place. Good luck!

Use a sea salt and water solution in a spray bottle. It adds texture and you do look like you were on the beach. You can also put your hair into a bun and that adds volume. Putting your hair in little pin curls secured with bobby pins and put a shower cap on and hop into the shower! Heat sets it. A sea salt styling spray is beach blonde sea salt styling spray for thicker hair since it has coconut oil. There is another formulation more suitable for finer hair, brilliant brunette starlit waves. =)

Okay lets see... the best thing to do is get hair roller (curlers)....section your hair as many sections as you have curlers...instead of rolling the curler up your hair vertically roll it up as if you were doing a spiral curl....wake up in the morning then style...another way to have pretty wavy curls is to braid your hair not too small and you want to braid it in singles not corn rows...then after u braid each one take the braid twist it so that its up against your head like mini buns then put on a scarf its best to do this one right after you wash your hair while its damp trust me its works....but very time consuming. It just depends on the look cuz i really dont know who that kathy girl is...

you might have hair like mine and no matter what you do it wount stay curly...but you could either try curling it with a 2 inch barrelled curling irona dn then also with a 1/2 inch to even it out and making it seem more natural. or you could twist (just twist until they collapse and stick toyour head) one inch sections of your wet hair the night before and pin them up on your head and sleep on them and see what happens....
