Isn't that against the guy code? You don't date a friends ex or his sister.

I would tell your friend first. Do it respectfully and tell him you mean all the respect in the world and wouldn't think about hurting her. Make sure you approach it carefully. If you tell him up front and in a serious manner he'll take you more serious. Now this could go both ways, either he blows up or he may not like it but understands and thinks you'll treat her right. If he blows up, lay off for awhile until he calms down and then talk to him again. This could be difficult, but confronting him before is a lot better than catching you hookin up with his sister out of the blue, that could be disasterous for both of you.

If he is a good friend, then he knows that you are a good guy. You are a good guy, right? Just let him know. Let him know before you make your move. He will respect you more that way. And if hes not cool with it...go ahead anyway. At least you put him on alert.
Remember... if you hurt her, your friend could hurt you.

Talk to your friend to see if he trust you with her and then just ask her out like you would any girl. If he beats the crap out of you, I'm sorry for giving bad advice!

If you want to date her you should talk to your friend first.
However, if he is a really good friend, just think what will happen if you split up, he either will not want to see you, or it will be awkward for you to be around his family in future.

well when you're at his house you can tell you're friend that you are goin 2 da bathroom but really go and find her 2 ask her out on a date or if u really lyke her it shouldn't matter wat he thinks
