Indy is a great place to live you have racing, football, basketball ,the best children's museum in the state, fall color just 1hr south in brown county
great restraints, summer concerts at Conner prairie, baseball, and the zoo right downtown. Shopping at circle center, fondue at the melting pot, the lighting of the x-mas tree on the circle downtown, the strawberry festival in June, the end of summer fireworks on the canal. i could go on but if you look there are always reasons to think that your city is a nice place to live just look.

I've never lived in Pittsburgh, but I've lived in Indianapolis for 20 years, and it's a great city. There's the 500 and the Brickyard if you like racing (I'm not a fan), there's a fantastic arts district downtown, there are restaurants and night spots and galleries in Broad Ripple, there's the National Institute of Fitness & Sport, four good universities, lots of live theatre, and I could go on & on. I wish we had a beach here and we'd be heaven. My only complaints are that it's cold in the winters and there isn't enough sunshine.

i lived in indy 7 yrs won't go back something is wrong with that place it has no life, people are so back in the day until it ain't funny, its dull and boaring the squerrel are a funny color they don't look alive, i never met any body that moved there and stayed its the people they are very friendly but they don't have a clue
ive lived in many cities, and indy is one i won't return to yuk,i have 4 adult children there and begging them to get out before they become lost ,like everyone else there i think they have micro chips in the people and they all act clueless it reminds me of the people in the movie the stafford wifes the old movie, people seem to be programed 20 yrs behind something is wrong they say its in the water so if you go there don't drink the water better yet don't waste your time go elsewhere

I've never been to Indy, but I live in Pittsburgh and I love it. Who said there's nothing to do here? Have you ever been here? LOTS to do in the 'Burgh, and great people. NO attitude here. If you're getting attitude in Pittsburgh you've either done something stupid (we WILL stand up for ourselves!) or you're in the wrong neighborhood. Lots of neighborhoods... many great, a few not so great, what city doesn't have those?
Pittsburgh is a great city with beautiful sights, many theatres and museums, and a lot of character. Give us a chance! :)
