Remember the "every jot and tittle" line from Jesus? Would't that include God's directive to stone to death sinners?

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

I think Jesus said that when people wanted to stone a woman adultress.

If all sinners would get stoned, who would be left?
Just because Christians believe in Jesus doesn't mean that they are perfect and are no longer capable of sin. They just try harder not to sin.

The law's requirement for punishment was fulfilled in Christ's death. Christ fulfilled every jot and tittle of the law for us.

A Christian is not called to hurt, but to love and forgive. That being said, the government still has divinely instituted power of punishment. Paul's writings definitely address this issue.

We are under the law of grace... A higher law that is often harder to live out. Love your enemies. Pray for those who hurt you.

No, God doesn't want us to kill non Christians at all. In fact, He love them just as much as He loves Christians, because God is a God of love, no matter who it's directed towards, and there's nothing anyone can do that can reduce that love. In the same way, we Christians need to strive to be like God and adopt that life of love and love on everyone. How are we going to win souls for the kingdom if we're killing people and not giving them a chance? If people choose to live a life of sin and won't accept God into their lives, the best we can do is to continue to pray for their salvation and to love them unconditionally. If they still don't accept God before they die, it will have been their fault.

Jesus also said to Love thy enemies. We cannot cast stones at sinners when we are sinners ourselves.
