It's possible to get a new SSN# - but only if you are the victim of fraud, etc. However, it's VERY difficult to do, and is only granted in very rare cases.
You can't, however, get a new SSN# just because your credit sucks. And besides, you wouldn't want a new one anyway, because you're starting from ZERO - i.e., no credit history, which is just as bad.
Just work on improving your credit. It can be done.

Get a tax payer ID # this is for businesses and you can be a consultant. Build credit this way while fixing credit related to your SSN.
Also, there is a lobbying group called JONAS that repairs credit reports with the assitance of a federal agency. They have been successful in removing liens, judgments, bankruptcies, charge-offs, etc.
If you want more info on JONAS, email me at white_hare@hotmail.com

It is very possible to get a new social security number to get a credit file.
Just remember though that doing so is a criminal offense and should the Social Security Administration catch you knowingly and willfully using/providing a fictitious number for the sake of credit repair or benefit payments, they may refer you to the Justice Department for prosecution under federal laws.
Good luck.

Yes. Go to Mexico, cross back over the border, and get hooked up with some guy named Jose that is selling social security cards in San Diego for less than the price of a burrito.

Sure. Just go to the SSS office and give them a dollar and tell them that you would like to have a new SS number.

Victims of Identity theft RARELY are given new SS#'s, you can be sure they wouldn't consider it for individuals who just want to start over financially speaking.
