Yes, it is a good idea to apply Frontline now if you are having a flea problem and alot of people do continue treatment all year round. Flea eggs can and do lay dormant for LONG periods of time before hatching so if the animal is receiving a flea treatment this problem is of no concern. Good Luck, Tammy

My cat has an outdoor pen (enclosed on all sides including top) I give him the Frontline through October. After the first frost it should be OK to stop.

100% yes, I just had this problem with my indoor/outdoor kitty. and my dog too. I tried a few on-line suggestions, dawn dish soap for one. and I bought a "comparative brand at PetCo... neither worked. I took my pets to the Vet and bought them the prescription strength box and in a matter of one week. fleas dead... and what is great is once a month add it again, and your cat will never have the problem. It worked for me and now both my cat and dog can sit in the living room with me and the rest of the non-flea family members

It depends on where you live. I live in Florida and it doesn't get cold enough to kill anything so I continue to put the Frontline on my cats. A good freeze will kill the fleas and ticks so you might continue to put it on your cat until a freeze.

I would see no problem with giving your cat Frontline anytime as you only dab a little between it's shoulders and you are good to go.

during the winter months it is wiser to keep the cats inside. however I had a cat that was quite insistent he be let out but he would come in when the sun was setting (as it was down right cold after the sun set). if your cat is insistent as mine was then double check with the vet before applying

The flea problem usually does not go away until the end of Fall, keep him up on treatments until then

I would keep giving it to your cat. not all days are so cold that there won't be a problem. Also, it is warm in your house, you could have a problem later with them, if they are in there, and your pet is not protected. As mild as last winter was, I would not chance it.
