My ideas? Try to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. Work hard, but don't over 60 minutes at a time. Do planks and other abs exercises on alternate days.
On training days, do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.
The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!
Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.
Read magazines like Shape, Womens Fitness, Fitness, etc to get tips and to stay motivated.
Good luck and stick at it. This plan has lost me 20 lbs in 12 weeks so far, just go for it!

If you really want to zap your body into a fat burning machine and get a flat tumy you have to do a few things.
1: you must eat correctly - that means 5 times a day, each must be a complete meal (protien, carb and good fats) and the total calories must add up to 20% less than your maintenance level calorie intake.
2: You must do at least 30 minutes of cardio 5-7 times a week.
3: You must do some form of resistance training.

If you're of average female height (5'2"-5'4") and you weigh 156lbs, a flat stomach in a month isn't a reasonable goal. Start some cardio and weight training, cut down on processed foods and eat small portions. You didn't gain that weight in a month, and it isn't going to go away in a month, sorry.

You can't get a flat stomach without some cardio. I hate running or jogging too, so I've accepted my pudginess. lol You could try walking. I've also heard that if you stop drinking soda, that helps a lot.

You have to do some form of cardio excercise to get your stomach flat, situps are not enough. Pilates focuses on moves that strengthen your core (stomach) muscles. Can't guarentee a flat stomach in a month though.

According to the research, walking has the same benefits as running, so this would be a great help in losing the belly. Watch your food intake too. especially at night. Limit these foods to just once or twice a week: cheeses, chips. sodas, fried foods, fast foods, sweet treats, instead eat fruits, veggies, yogurts, fat free and sugar free everything! If you walk-you'll lose it faster too.

First off is your diet, less junk food, and soda, Eat more vegetables and fruits. Excerise you should try swimming, sit-ups, or walk a few miles. I couldn't stick to the plan for a while but then I got used to it. Get some friends to walk, or swim together it helps a lot.

actually i've found that you can't really get a flat stomach in one month--or at least i can't. i think it depends on your body type tho...maybe if you do enough of those leg lifts as mentioned before...and you might want to look up other ab exercises on the web...whichever ones hurt the most are the ones that work the best
