i am doing some research and i would like to know the percentage or stats of patients who have been diagnosed as brain dead with a long term prognosis of pvs(perstitent vegetative state) and are being kept alive on ventilators. Also some good sites that i can get some info on this subject

What statistics are you looking for exactly?? However, a good place to start would be medical journals I am sure someone or some government entity has done some research on it.

as u start ur research try a mean (N)of 100 hospitals all over the united states....and go from there. in my hospital i would say 3-4 so have a list of all hospitals and call them, tell them u are doing research and u dont need any names....just numbers..of cases...wish u luck
