It all depends on the food you are trying to freeze and how you are storing it. Most things will last a few weeks frozen if you make sure there is no air in the container. I have found that if you are trying to freeze things in just a disk or plastic container, it will not last as long. Things in a GOOD ziplock bag where all the air has been expeled will typically last longer. The quicker you freeze it, and the less air it is exposed to, the longer it will last. Just make sure you label and date everything, even if you think it will be easily recognizable later...lol. You wouldn't want to make that mistake. The date is the major thing though. I have had meats stay fresh for a month or more frozen when packaged properly, but you have to be very careful. Always thoroughly check anything that has been in the freezer for more than a few weeks. Good luck!
