Is it ok to call the leader of the Methodist church a "Pastor" ?
Also, who in Methodist church helps those in need? Say who do the member of the church need to approach in the event of the financial hardship?
THANK YOU !!!

My dad's a Methodist minister. You can refer to them as Pastor, Reverend, or Preacher, just not "Father". And regarding the financial aid, there is usually a committee that may have some cash available. The minister is the most likely avenue to pursue it.

It is okay to call a Methodist minister "pastor." But, just as there is not just one church for people to attend, one title might not be appreciated by some as it would others. I would ask someone in the church what their pastor likes to be called. We called ours "Dr. Bob."

As far as asking for assistance, it depends on the financial condition of the church as well. If you are a member, you are more likely to get assistance. I would speak to the pastor about your situation, and see what help is available. If they can't help, they may know other ministries that can.
