I would feel really bad just saying it to him..... and I don't want to write him a note because notes can be misleading at times..... PLEASE HELP... and remember I DON'T WANT TO BE MEAN!!!!

well the main thing you don't want to do is give him the wrong impression...if he thinks that your leading him on then he might use that as his green light to go for it..but if you don't have the same feelings that he has for you then..the best way to show him that your only freinds and nothing else is to say now and then that "he's a great freind"....once he continues to hear that he's nothing but a good freind then he'll eventually get the point...

just tell him why mess up a good friendship, and that you only see him as a friend. and that you won't to keep it that way.
