It is a little difficult to understand exactly what you are saying. Jesus said; "An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas". (Matthew 12:39) Of course Jesus was making reference to his death and being raised up again on the third day.
"Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." (Matthew 19:19)
"And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh." (Luke 21:28) The passages before this verses speaks of what will come to pass in the later days.
The only people I know of who are attempting to bring about Armageddon are nuts like the president of Iran. He and many others are open about trying to start the final battle.
Christians on the other hand try warning people so they will acknowledge Jesus as their Lord and Savior so they won't have to go through the terrible things that will come to pass.
It isn't that God is making the things happen in the last days, man is doing that themselves. God knows the future and was simply stating what will come to pass.
The bible also tells us that Jesus will return during the battle of Armageddon so that man will NOT totally destroy themselves.
"For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened." (Matthew 24:21-22)

God doesn't need help. And, as a Christian, though I look forward to the rapture I don't want to see people injured or killed in order to purposely speed that process up. God will come in His own time, we can only watch. God bless!
Revelation 22:20
He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming soon." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
Matthew 24:36-44
36"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 37As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.
42"Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. 43But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. 44So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

The Destruction of the earth will be a result of our own sinful decisions. The earth was created to be a perfect and eternal place for us to fellowship with our father God. however God gave us the power to make our own decisions. Jesus does not want anyone to perish into eternal punishment But it is OUR choice. If a Christian says he or she will "rejoice in the prospect of the world's destruction," they are not Christians. They follow a god of there own making.

No help is needed. Jesus said that for the hope of believers who long to see Him face to face and for those who grow weary of the evil, wars, and destruction they continue to endure while alive on this Earth. It is a hope to see the end of Satan. Armegeddon marks the beginning of the end for evil's reign here on earth.

Not to be offensive or anything, but regardless of what the Bible might say, God needs help from no one. God PROVIDES help.
Some may argue that He doesn't. But I believe He does.

close, but "love your neighbor as yourself" is not the greatest commandment God has given us. That comes in second, right after "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength" - deutoronomy 6:5

This is just an FYI: I saw it on the history channel. Armageddon is not an event it is a place. If I recall correctly it is located in Israel or Palestine.

You are not going to meet Jesus or anyone else after you die. "Heaven or Hell is here and now, and you make your own." That is what my father told me, and I believe it.
