You're trying to lose weight, you've been really good and the scale just doesn't want to budge. Of course we all know it will eventually if we continue to be good, but how do you stay encouraged enough to continue to be good?

First thing you do is have some wild animal sex with an appreciative partner. That will make you feel a LOT better! Afterward, enjoy a nice Reece's Peanut Butter Cup with a tall glass of ice cold milk. Then go out and buy a fabulous dress...or bikini...whatever, bring it home and hang it on the wall, where you can see it. Next time, you get discouraged, repeat steps one and two.

If I had a super answer I would be skinny...but I think you need to remember that as your body changes sometimes it retains water pr gains muscle, or just gets stuck for a bit. I think of all that and whether or not it is almost that time of the month. If you can stay good through that you will almost always drop some weight. Good Luck!

I keep telling myself that I am not going to see immediate results, that if I've been working out, muscle weighs more than fat, that if I continue on the same path, the pounds will start to melt away. And you know what? They always do!!!

just remember that even if you aren't seeing results right away (probably not) that you are at least (hopefully) leading a better lifestyle by eating better and eating right, excersizing, and other good habits. even if you aren't losing weight right away you are beginning at it, and reducing your risk for other health risks too.

hope this helped! don't give up but don't expect to lose lots of weight at once either! also muscle weighs more lb. for lb.... dont' look at just the scale.

Take your measurements, and compare them against the last time. Or go into your closet and find a pair of pants that fit now, that didn't when you started. Sometimes remembering how far you have come helps you over the plateau.
