So do I, too bad no one makes a good one where I live now.

I used to be in LA and these made some nice sandwiches there. Sartori's and Giamellas. Mmmm. Great, big 12" steaks or turkey or roast beef or Italian sausace or Meatball with loads of chopped tomatoes, onions, pickels and Italian dressing.

Mike's had a decent one too, but it was getting more oinons and meat!

And some nice Deli's too! Sauls In Beverly Hills. Nice big roast beef, turkey, pastrami or corned beef on rye with a side of colesalw, potatosalad and a big pickle spear.

Tommy's for a greasey double chili cheese with tomato, onions and pickels.

Even Arbys is better than whats out here! Dump enough Horsey Sauce on it and it's ok! They had a BBQ Pork for a while but dumped on it, don't know why. It was pretty good!

Then there's the Holland Butcher shop in North Hollywood near Burbank. Man the best hot pork (you had to get there before 11:30 or they run out) with BBQ sauce on a French roll. Good hot roastbeef with mayo and mustard!

Pecos Bill in Burbank made a dandy slow roasted BBQ sandwich. Like a sloppy Joe made with steak beef not burger.

Then there were the Pita sandwiches at the Persian/Arabic places, that were much like a Gyros.

Finnaly, who could beat Fillipo's on North Main Street by the Old Terminal Annex post office for French Dip sandwiches! MMMM!

Out here they think Subway is a sandwich!

Where's the beef?!

Sorry, but you've posted off topic. This is the religion and spiritual section. Post some question about how you worship sandwiches, and maybe we'll get somewhere :)
