Don't focus on the other guy, focus on your feelings toward her and if she's someone you want to be with. Tell her when you are ready and not a moment sooner. If it's real, then you won't have to compete for her attention, she'll give you all of it. If not, you could probably do better. If she's going with both of you to see who gives her more, walk away because that is not a nice person, as she only cares about herself and you deserve better.

I think that you should tell her how you feel but hold back some of those feelings espically if the word love is floating around in there. As well to get her away from the other guy take her to do new and exciting things. Be orginal. As well ask her a lot of questions so that she knows you are intrested. Silly things like her favorite color and her best childhood memory. Just remeber to let her talk

Two weeks is definitely not enough time to build a relationship - so - even if the other guy beats you to the punch, keep in mind that a girl thats worth the time and energy will not jump at the first guy that shows interest. Just ask her out. Keep it simple. Lunch is always good to see how it goes - that way if it does not go good, your not stuck with a dud date all nite. Do a week day lunch, then make plans for the week end if it goes good. Good Luck.

you said that you were worried that she would think that you were making the decision too fast... well let him be the one to move too fast. Then more time will have past and it won't be so sudden of a move on your part
But I do think that if you make a move right now, that that would be too soon, give things time, you know what I mean?

Don't worry about what some other guy is doing, just worry about yourself. You may be in your teens so i'll say this: been there done that. You just met her 2 weeks ago, do you REALLY like her or are you just temporarialy infatuated? Just like a new pair of shoes, once you see them you gotta have 'em. But after a while you're not as excited. Just worry about yourself and take your time.

There are other ways to show her that you like her without coming on too strong. But first, if the other guy is a friend of yours, you guys should talk about this cause you know it will probably come back to bite you in the butt. Try to show her that you like her by actively trying to get to know her better. That way she gets to know you better too and she will be more open to exploring a relationship between the two of you. Well, that's my suggestion

Trust me the worst thing you can do is hold your feelings inside you...you need to just explain to her how you feel even if your rejected it will be better to know that u said everythnig u needed to say to see if it would work out than to just keep it inside and neevr know what would have happened

Go for it. Tell her as soon as you can. Girls like the fact that two guys are fighting over her, but they'll like the fact that one likes her enough to jump at the opportunity to date her. Don't hesitate! Tell her!!!
