I am having a flowergirl and no ring bearer. The flowergirl will be 11, she she is a bit on the old side for a flowergirl. Rather than have her throw flowers out of a basket, I was thinking that she could be in charge of the rings. At first I thought of doing a basket with a pillow type thing in it, similar to what ar ing bearer would carry.
BUT..I don't really like baskets. Does anyone have any cute or creative ideas on how we could have her carry the rings?

Give her flowers to carry, but attach some long ribbons to the flowers. Tie the rings to the ribbons so they hang down.

why not let the groom or the best-man carry the rings in their pockets if you are not having a ring bearer I think the flower girl is one of the best parts in a wedding the throwing of flowers b4 the bride comes down.

I used a very pretty silver box. It was lined with velvet. Much safer then a pillow or basket.

How a cute little handbag?
Or two dolls, with the rings attached to their fingers to a thin thread (easy to break)?
Or carried in container in a jewlery box?
Or a balloon in your colors with the rings tied to the end?

I think you should have her with a bouquet of flowers and have a beautiful ribbon tied around the fornt of its and hanging at the boototm are the rings and that would be REALLY cute!!

Maybe have her put the rings on a nice necklace and have the groom undo it for her when its time to exchange them? She'd feel all grown up,I think.

if you have a little stuffed animal you have saved from when you and your future husband met you could tie the rings to that.
