i'm craving something sweet and plain old chocolate milk is just too plain, would ice blended with it make it into a milkshake or something like it? or would it just come out bad?

Blend in a blender until smooth. Add more or less ice cream for thicker or thinner milkshakes.

you're no longer likely to get an ice cream milkshake without ice cream. you are able to the two purely have some chocolate milk or positioned the milk and syrup interior the blender with some ice to make it thicker.

no. You will just end up with chocolate milk. You need ice cream to make a milkshake.

Yeah, it is good that way. If you can stand to wait for a few minutes, put powdered sugar (or regular sugar) in the milk and put that in the blender until it is frothy...then freeze that, now add a few ice cubes and your chocolate (you don't have any bananas do you) and blend.
If you can't wait for the frothy milk to freeze..just go for it.

That was actually how the original milk shake was made.

one of my favorite recipes is:
Strawberries, ice, milk, splenda, and raw oatmeal blend it up and enjoy!

That's more like a chocolate slushie or smoothie, but would taste OK.
