Keep praying that they will find the truth. Remember satan is roaming this earth putting evil thoughts into the weak minds of humans. he is the father of lies and that is what he is telling them all lies. When people that have probably never been in a church let alone picked up and studied the Bible accuse the followers of Christ for being, for lack of a better word, brain dead, that is satan talking through them. All we can do as followers of Christ is pray for them.

"Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why they call it the present."
First off, to take a pessimistic view: how do we know that this isn't already hell -- our world -- full of conflict and violence, famine, disease, pollution?
Secondly, not every religion believes in heaven or hell (talk to a Buddhist, for instance).
Thirdly, and this is where the above quote comes in, I think it's more important to live in the moment as much as possible rather than worrying about the future. That said, I believe in living a loving, responsible, caring, engaged life.
My soul, since I do believe in that (although there are perfectly nice, loving people who don't) will go on, with or without me.

I would never brag about going to hell. I couldn't do something so stupid and ignorant as that, especially since I have the strong feeling that I'm not going there. Shame on those who do think so! Don't they know, as I do, that hell and heaven do not exist?

Most people believe the lies spewing from pulpits. Even though there are clear explanations in the bible, preachers chose to believe and preach things they have been taught that are wrong.
Preachers twist the truth and people believe it.
Just one example. The soul is the body that we live in, and yet most think it is the spiritual part that goes to heaven.
Next example; Most people think they will individually go to Heaven, and yet in Revelation, it says that God will pitch his tent with mankind. Doesn't that mean he will live with man on earth?
I also wonder why so many think the King James Version of the bible is the first translation and the most accurate?
Do you think Jesus spoke 16th century English? Yet they stick to his bible.....KJV.....OH well, you can't fight city hall.

does this sound anything like the world today?
2 Timothy 3
1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power.
People are too busy to worry about their eternal destiny, it's easier to just write it off with"there is no God" or "I'm good, God wouldn't send me to Hell" or any of a million excuses for neglecting Jesus.
Hebrews 2:2-4
2 For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward, 3 how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him, 4 God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?

I don't know.
You'd think that people would worry more about ETERNAL LIFE than the couple of years they have down here!
Acts 2:38-41 "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is to you and to your children and to all that are far off, every one whom the Lord our God calls to him." And he testified with many other words and exhorted them, saying, "Save yourselves from this crooked generation." So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls

Perhaps they have reached an understanding far beyond the antiquated ideology of Moses, Matthew, Luke etc... ad nauseum.
One does not own, nor possess a soul. If you actually comprehend what you profess to believe, you would know that you do not belong to yourself, you belong to your creator.
I worry not for my future, I live now.

Because some people see how big of a joke some things are. They try not to take things seriously or else they will dwell on them.

Unless the Spirit of God draws one to God, how can they feel God?
Unless they are given the Word of God to hear, how will they know?
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

Because their eyes arent opened. Never let what you see and hear in the world around you sway your belief in the heaven and hell that God tells us is real. Hold onto Christ and all He speaks to your heart, be an instrument of grace and mercy to those who dont believe and by your light and love some may know Christ.
