i am 24 yrs old girl. i had sex on 28th august. the condom broke, so me scared i might be pregnant. but i got my periods on 18th september. my date of periods is 12 th september. i took pregnancy test on 12 th august. it was negative. i heard that a delayed periods and unprotected sex can make me pregnant. i even heard that even when we are pregnant, we might have periods. am i pregnant? what to do?

Was your period a regular flow, light to heavy to light. Then most likey the test was right. If your flow was really light and lasted only a couple days, then you could be pregnant. For your period being late, stress of worrying can make your period late. I would home test again. But most likely your not pregnant if your period was a regular period.

A variety of things can affect your period, among them stress and worry. Being scared that you may be pregnant may have been enough to delay your period for 6 days. If your period that began on September 18 is normal for you - normal amount of flow and normal length of time - it is highly unlikely that you are pregnant. However, it is possible. Anytime you have sex, regardless of the protection you use, there is always a chance of pregnancy. Nothing but abstinence is 100% effective. If your period is shorter than usual or lighter than usual, then you may want to try another pregnancy test 2 weeks after your period ends. It is possible to have a period when you are pregnant, but it is not typical. If you miss your next period than visit your doctor or your local health clinic.

I wouldn't be to worried you could try taken an ept test again but as long as it isn't a usual thing happening you should just be careful
