I once knew a guy who insisted that nothing is ever self-evident. It was his own original philosophy and he was quite passionate about it.
I think even he would have agreed that a product named "Slimfast" could only refer to something that would make you gain weight. The company's other product, "Get Fat Fast!!" is clearly intended for weight loss.

In theory it is supposed to help you lose weight. In practice, when I tried it, it did absolutely nothing for me.
Now, there is a certain mentality where a person might decide that it's all right to eat a bunch of fatty food because they are using this diet suppliment or drinking diet soda. That WILL put on the weight, and negate the purpose of the diet aid.

its for loosing weight. Youre supposed to replace a meal with slim fast. So, if youre eating 3 times a day, and drinking slim fast, its almost like eating 3 more meals. which makes you gain weight.

Technically, it is "slim" fast. But you never know, drink too many you'll gain weight. If you have 3 or 4 and your normal meals you'll gain.
