This week, the Senate is planning to QUIETLY hold a vote that would pardon President Bush for breaking the law by illegally wiretapping innocent Americans.

The bill would let the administration off the hook for breaking the law and make it legal to wiretap Americans, in secret, without any oversight whenever they want to.

Democrats and some Republicans are holding strong against it, and if enough of us speak up we can stop it. Can you sign the petition opposing the Republican move to pardon President Bush for breaking the law?

Obviously, I think he should be prosecuted instead of pardoned. Make your voice & opinion heard!

Pardoned? He should be impeached, then put in jail. I accept his confession, let's move on to the penalty phase.

Of course you mean "getting away" with the wiretapping of every single phone call and every Internet communication without even an official investigation into the bush administration, charges, censure or impeachment proceedings not "pardoned" from crimes they should have been charged with and convicted for but haven't.

I think there should be impeachment hearings, because firstly he's just broken too many laws, the wiretapping just one case of dozens.

And secondly he won't face reality about the true situation in Iraq automatically meaning we're going to lose if he stays in charge because his tactics won't work in the real world.

Because he isn't basing them and won't base them on what's actually going on there, it means we can't win with him in charge, and he won't admit it, meaning the only option left we have is to remove him from office to win the war.

An honorable man would be honest enough with himself to either start finding out what the truth is about what's going on and justly do what it takes to win or if he can't and things are spiriling out of control, even if slowly(which I believe they are), he should resign.

And finally under his leadership we haven't been Fighting the war legally, ethically and morally as we should be and could be, that's what makes us the good guys, and we're not living up to that, that's why we have so much hate aimed at us, and if we did fight like that we'd have more success and make more allies instead of enemies.

You're a liar, sir. You need to provide a legitimate news source on that, and moveon.org does not constitute as legit. They are holding a vote in the senate to keep the wire tapping going. That's a far cry from "voting to pardon Bush." The Senate is the one that voted for it in the first place, and take a look at CNN Gallup, and Zogby poll. 80% of Americans want the wire tapping to remain in place. You Libs, and your bogus propaganda links! Get a clue, even with the bucks George Soros paid to beat Bush in 04, Americans still voted for him. The days of Libs being in power is O-V-E-R.

Well, so far, no crime has been commited that he should be pardoned for.

If they end up prosecuting him of a charge and his is found guilty, then he has commited a crime. Then they can pardon him. Sure.

The wiretap was legal. Let it go. Dubyah is doing what is best for our safety and the safety of all of the USA. God Bless America!

Would you rather live in Iraq? I don't think so!

Pardoned for what? He hasn't done anything wrong to be pardoned on! The Senate looked at that bill, and voted for it, so you'd have to pardon them too! Also, that wire tapping is keeping us safe, and has stopped several terror plots dead in their tracks! You Libs are funny how you'll put a joke of a link like moveon on here, and call it a source, ((lol))

OK....one week out from 9/11 and people have actually forgoten what happened.

Terrorist, living in our country, planned and organized, on telephones, in our country...THE BIG US of A....to bomb us, with American planes, and kill Americans. Do you know how stupid that question sounds? UGH!

I am so tired of people crying about the War, wah, wah, wah....listen people, fight the war on someone elses land....not ours. Do you really want the redneck militia in America to have to crawl out of the wood work because terrorist and other countries are actually fighting wars on our land. Ending the war there only brings our boys home...to fight here! You really think that we pull out and the war ends. No, that tells 'em America, Big Brother just lost their cahones...let's go get 'em.

Obviously I am a extreme supporter of GW and fellow Texan.

How can one be pardoned without being tried and convicted of a crime? As far as I know, Bush has not been convicted of a crime.
