I have met someone that sparks my interest and after talking and meeting a few times I really like him. Problem is that I have kinda got a bad feeling about him even though he has given me no reason to have one. Is it normal to feel like this when you have been out of the dating scene for a little while?

Yes it is natural I believe. We all have a little insecurity and doubt inside us. May I suggest that if you want to take this further, ask him out. However, dont have him pick you up or you pick him up, meet at a public place and take a friend with you (but tell him, like make it a double date or simular) That way you are in neutral territory right from the start, and have a close friend to fall back on and support. If he is at all decent and interested, trust me he will not mind.

I guess my question would be, are you sure that you didnt see something but you just dont wanna admit it?
I think its good to trust your instinct when you have no trauma, maybe youve had bad experiences, maybe youre scared to date again etc. In this case its your bad experiences keeping you from taking a chance. I would also suggest you ask a friend of yours what he/she thinks, we dont listen to our friends enough when they give us dating tips, they know us best, they can tell if the person is good for us or not.
If not, then go for it! Take a chance!

Of course it's normal to be apprehensive when you've been out of the dating scene for awhile. Especially if you're relationships have gone sour in the past. You should just take things slow before you jump into anything. Just be sure, of course.

I would trust your instinct if you have a bad feeling then I would go with that. He may not of given you any reason yet but people act different when you first meet but whatever your decision GOOD LUCK

Its normal. I personally say trust your instincts if you really do have a bad feeling about this guy. I remember once I had a bad feeling about a guy I was really interested in, so I trusted my gut and it turned out he was engaged.

If you have a bad feeling do not go out with him . Listen to your feelings and they will guide you for a good relationship
