Since January till today nearly $24 million dollars has been wired to Mexico from the US.Yes we could use a piece of that to pay all the hospital bills etc that they use and do not pay for.If you are paid in cash as are most illegals then no income tax is taken out.The sales tax does not pay for the schools,hospitals,public assistance that they use.
To the poster above people with Swiss bank accounts aren't invading my state and city that's why ,don't be silly.In AZ its illegals from Mexico not from any where else.

I agree with you...I see mehhicans lined up at the Western Union counter in the grocery stores...every Friday....and they are wiring money out just as fast as they can....
We need to heavily tax this exported money. It will discourage the illegals from coming over here..from sending money home....
Either way, it will be a positive step...use the money to take care of our own poor, our own handicapped and our own elderly whose services are being cut because of lack of funding.

Not everyone receiving money in Mexico has it coming from an illegal.
Many US citizens retire down there.
Katsulovers, a whopping 24 million? OMG that would solve all of our problems! Get real man 24 million is nothing to put over anyones head. We spend more than that just changing road signs in one state. How many doctor's salaries would that cover for a year? How much is it costing the US taxpayers per day just to keep our troops overseas. How much does ONE fighter aircraft cost? or Helicopter for that matter. If thats all you could google you need to keep on searching.

I agree. In fact most wire transfers should be prevented to Mexico.
I would do these three things to end the illegal alien party, the large majority of which comes across the Mexican border.
1. Build an electrified fence
2. Jail and fine employers who hire illegals
3. Eliminate most wire transfers to Mexico, and other Cent American countries.

Why just to mexico?And still you argue it only has to do with illegality.I would agree with this only and ONLY when it was also done to people from other countries transferring money.heck let's make it better and do it to anyone who wires money to any foreign country regardless of immigration status.Yeah all those people with swiss bank accounts can afford being taxed.

As long as they pay in American dollars.....We could charge $100 on every transfer, and that wouldn't even put a dent in them if they where using the Mexican peso....

how wrong you are you know immigrants do pay taxes my sister in-law(illegal immigrant) drives an 06 camery she pays insurance and most mexicans will go into a clinic and pay i work in one
