Stinky clothes and hair, bad breath. Also smell their hands, you can definitely smell it on their fingers.

There are three kind of smokers.
1- Original chain Smokers
2- Non Chain Smoker who smokes 3 or 5 cigarettes a day
3- passive smokers
You can figure out if someone is smoker or not from his or her smell. Lips colour changes and if someone is a chain smoker you can see catch him her from her seeing her finger nails they become purple show the deficiency of oxygen in their blood. their teeth also turn yellow by the nicotine

Smell mostly, check their breathe, clothes and hair.
Presence of cigarettes, tobacco or matches.
Stained teeth...

well the smell of smoke on their clothes and their breth smellin like it too or if you see them doing it but hey those are the ovious ones they usually ahve a short temper and they want to be gone alot of the time so hope this helps

sometimes the smoke you smell on others may be from someone else. the fingers is the true thing.

The stentch of the person and the brown teeth. Also, a lighter is a dead giveaway. Ashes or reminents of in the ash tray.

Yes, they smell like ash, bad breath, yellowed teeth, if you find small burn holes in they're clothes (saying it's a teen), lighters in they're possesion, things like that is what I'd be keeping my eyes open for.
