A lot of girls don't like to have their personal life on display for everyone to see. Unlike guys we're not interested in everyone knowing what we have with our boyfriend. Some of us are a little more private. So if you are trying to get affection from her in public, that could be the problem. Also, girls are more open with affection if they know that their boyfriend has actuall "real" feelings for them, not just feelings a physical attraction.
Now if this is something new that is going on with your girlfriend and she always hugged and kissed you before, then its very possible that her feelings are beginning to change. In that case, just talk to her. She'll need to feel like she can tell you anything, which also means you will have to be able to hear and accept whatever it is she really has to say. The only way to have a real relationship is when both people can feel like they can really open up and talk to one another without the fear of being judged or even hated. Just remember that not everything lasts forever, and even if your girlfriend's feelings have changed for whatever the reason...she is still the same girl you began liking in the first place and you shouldn't treat her as if she is any less than great.

You probably smell or have bad breath.
If you don't then she is not your girlfriend because the ONLY other reason that a girlfriend will push you away is because she has found a new guy and is hoping you will get mad and give her a reason to break up with you or she is hoping you will break up with her.
But let me tell you I am SURE she is NOT pushing away the other guy. In fact if she is pushing you away she is probably letting his touch her in more ways than just Kissing or hugging and she really likes him and what he does to her.
You don't stand a chance now, so the best thing is to tell everyone around her that she is a bad girl and that she cheats of her boyfriends and don't talk to her anymore.
Do it right away. Don't ask her because she will lie.

Most laides are shy she might not want to kiss u in the public or in front of people. Go where someone is not around. If it is not that you need to check your breath. if it not her parents might told her the lie about kissin. "if a boy kiss u then u will get preganat" lol

may b coz she is interested in a sexual relationship with dr phill more than with u!

Is it after sex? Some people hate being cuddled or touched after sex, that's just the way it is but if you just try to hug her and she ducks away dump her ***!!! she is most probably interested in someone else

if she went to catholic school that will explain it all.
other reasons her parents don't show emotion. like that
or worse happened to me she is using you.dump her fast on that one
she is not ready for kissing you never said how long you have been dating
she also could of got used herself by some guy. and she is now
very defensive. you also never gave your ages.

she might not really like you that way or that much. you catch what im saying? not trying to be mean but she might not really like you enough to get that intimate and doesnt want to hurt you... i guess. that's what i would think. you should ask her whats up. the internet isnt really the best place to look for love problems.

or just randomly
if she does it all the time maybe she isnt that comfortable with you
if she does it randomly maybe you did something to her
or, she could want you to fight for it, like plead a little bit
i do it to my boyfriend sometime, but im just kidding and what i really want is for him to pull me back in. show me that he really wants that kiss. or to pout haha. but he knows when im joking

well it sounds like she doesnt want that sort of stuff from you. there could be a ton of reasons but ask her in a quit moment "why do you push me away when i show you affection?" its just that simple

well first off how old is she? If young, and possibly you are her first kiss she may be scared that she doesn't know how to kiss ,..If older and has plenty of experience in kissing, she may just not be into you anymore.
