my hair turns red if i stay in the sun to long my friends says if her hair stays to long in the sun it will turn blue is this true?or is she tellin a story

If you have naturally dark hair, your hair may turn a little red from the sun, since the natural hue to dark hair is red. In all the years I've been doing hair, I've NEVER seen anyones hair turn blue unless they colored it that way.

If she has colored her hair black you might notice the blue in her hair more, but it won't turn electric blue. Black hair dye is never really black, but a mixture of blue and red. So you could notice the blue more than anything when the sunlight shines on it.

If she has colored her hair black or has black hair she may get some hues of blue in it in the sun. Otherwise, she is pulling your leg. LOL

Unless she has really black hair, and really dark black hair can look a little blue sometimes, but other wize it wont turn blue, Unless she is some magical creature
