My neighbors husband is in the Navy and she swears he's slept with women in every country he's been. Personaly I think he's rather on the ugly side but stil wondered about it. She said in some countries and even in the states some women only want to marry military men.

That's like the stereotype,"Oh, I heard Jewish people are good with money." Seriously, if you believe that...then you need some therapy. Yes, in countries and states women and men marry US servicemembers, to get a green card or whatever, some women in the states find men in a uniform attractive. It depends on the single person not the entire entitiy. There are actually laws in the UCMJ that punish adultery, which is what her dumb #*$ husband is committing, adultery and sodomy are both punishable by the UCMJ, prison time, forfeiture of pay, reduce in rank, etc. He can get into serious trouble if someone proves he's been an adultering man-whore. As for the rest of us, many are very loyal to the ones we love, we're just regular people, some of us just choose to add a few more extra responsibilities to our plate. Besides, he's in the Navy. Hahaha, kidding.

I hope he wasn't doing that while he's been married to her. But the answer to your question is yes. When ships get into port, whether it be in Spain, or Japan or wherever there are girls/ladies standing around waiting on them. Some are prostitutess and some are just their girlfriends etc. I was stationed in South Korea, and the Army guys went crazy for the Korean women. But most of the women over there were only interested in the soldiers on Payday...if you know what I mean. There were also a lot of soldiers who were married and stayed away from that sort of thing. Which is the way it should be.

That's her husband , men like him would sleep around if they put on a white shirt & tie, went to an office everyday or put on a hard hat and ran a jackhammer. It's "his" nature, just as some women are promiscuous and others aren't. Steroyping is thoughtless and lazy thinking. Any body can get laid, especially when they pay for it.
Your neighbor should get checked regularly for STDs and AIDS rather than boasting ? complaining? about her husband's infidelity. Most women with any self esteem would kick him to the curb!

The US Navy travels around a lot of places where the average navy pay will make him a rich man in comparison to the locals. There are many women around the world who work as prostitutes because they really have no option if they want to feed their kids. Your neighbour's husband is their john (even if he thinks he's just giving 'presents' to women who agree to sleep with him. What an exploitative jerk he must be.

Damn, I have been in the military for 16 years and haven't slept with a woman in every country....what am i missing? Get real lady. I respect my wife and am faithful to her. If her husband is sleeping around in other countries then maybe she is on the "ugly" side.

That's a true generalization.
It has nothing to do with the military, and everything to do with the individual.
If your neighbor's husband wasn't in the military, the only thing that would change would be the locations of his indiscretions. They would be much more localized.
He's a dirt bag - simple as that.......
and his wife is a moron.

It depends on the scruples of the soldier. Some actually keep themselves chaste. Certainly the temptation is there. That's why military guys have a sleep around reputation.

People only sleep around if they have no self-respect and are trying to catch every STD on the planet. People in the military are no more promiscuous than anyone else.

I was in the army and I talk from experience, If you are a doctor or nurse or a red cross girl, than you sleep with every one that has rank. Nurses with doctors, its incredible the amount of sex that goes on. red cross girls go to the highest ranks, and they are all very patriotic.
