the law is you have to have your child in some sort of educational system by the age of 6 if their birthday is after jan 1st, but up until then it's not punishable but I would put them in at 3 for social skills and structure

depending on the state, 5 is the minimum age, however, many parents are holding thier student out until age 6. its standard to have your child in some form of pre-school by age 3-4, but not mandatory.

As far as I know it is age 5 or kindergarten. You may want to put a search into Yahoo search with the name of your state and school laws. Good luck!

generally the law says you don't have to go to school until six. call your town board of education and they will settle this question for you.
but if you think about it, the cost of educating a child from the age of three would be so great that i don't see how any school board could afford to do it.

Wow....this mom is fortunate DCF hasn't come after her for clean baby forget. in case you do no longer furnish your babies to varsity (or set up a homeschooling application), then it is seen forget. the childrens could desire to be enrolled in school by the age of 5. indoors the case of the teenager with Downs, he could have long previous to varsity early, hence of fact many states grant Head start up classes for babies with disabilities. To the guy above me, Kindergarten is critical in a selection of of states. My states DOES require kindergarten, given it extremely is mutually as babies hit upon how you are able to learn. they could no longer be exceeded directly to 1st grade, until ultimately they meet a the benchmark in on a definite state mandated reading attempt.

I believe the state law in nj is 6. My boys were immature so I waited and I'm glad I did.
Call a local school.....they'll tell you for sure!

check your state. in wisconsin, education is not mandatory until age 6, and kindergarten is not required.
