Hi all, I get bad hayfever and just wondered if you think it's socially acceptable to blow your nose in front of a date. I guess it's better than sniffing, right? Or is it? Have any of you had to do this? Or ever been on a date with someone who did this? I ask this baecuase I always feel abit selfconscious blowing my nose but have always thought it's better to blow than keep sniffing.

it is okay..... it is by far better than the constant sniffing...and soooo much better than having the snot drip... just politely excuse yourself before you do.

You're right. To blow your nose is better than sniffing. I always blow my nose in front of people I already know. If I were you, then I would excuse myself in front of a date. Your date may think that you may have some disease. You may excuse yourself to the restroom. If you do blow your nose in front of a date, then you shall excuse yourself for blowing your nose.You will have to be courteous to your date by saying that you get bad hayfever. Then You blow your nose.

If you blow your nose in front of your date then she will never kiss you, and she will find it to be kinda disgusting. Buy some aerius allergy reducer from a pharmacist or somethin. It helps.

I would excuse myself and then do it elsewhere. There isnt much more embarrassing than having a booger sticking out of your nose when on a date.

Take a non-drowsy allgery pill before the date... if you've gotta blow it.. go to the bathroom...
