More fake, I think is the term. Maybe
Its not that either are fake, but the sories in each book are just that, stories. Like fables, they are meant scare children into being good. A "wait till your father gets home" kinda thing.
If you sin you will go to hell, be there is always a way out. Asking for forgivness for what you have done wrong. Its pretty much the way most people raise their kids but on a much bigger and less believeable scale
