Women/GIrls who participate in shooting/hunting sports are A#1 in my book. Just be sure you are learning the true meaning of conservation and proper hunting ettiquet. Read your rules and regs for your state and enjoy your hunting. Best of Luck.
For Janet, Hunting is a lifestyle and a lesson in patience. It also provides food for families through programs such as Hunters Against Hunger, and local homeless shelters. Before you go judging hunters, learn your facts. Hunting, when done legally helps to control animal populations. Without regulated hunting seasons, animals would starve to death, and food supplies would diminish, (Dear will travel outside of thier habitates to eat corn, wheat, vegitalbles, off of working farms, causing domestic food shortages. Hence, you will have to pay more at the market).

Your husband is a lucky man to have found a girl who shares these interests. Any more I won't date a girl that isn't at least agreeably tollerant of my outdoors activities. Otherwise it causes too many problems. That being said, do ya have any single friends who'd be interested in burning up a few boxes of ammo with a soldier/woodsman?
P.S. a can of Cream of Mushroom or Chicken soup mixed with 2 cups of elbow noodles makes an excelent side dish to go with any dinner meal. (the question this answers isn't open any more, but it was one of my favorites while being raised by my father)

I'm all for it! Typically in the past hunting and shooting was dominatly a mens sport, but times have changed. For good reason too. I have known several women in my life who are better hunters and shots than alot of men that I know. I think it's fantastic!!!:D
If they genuinly enjoy it RIGHT ON, but I also know some women who say they are into it, just to get attention from guys.

Most of the guys i know think it's great. My deceased bf was a Navy SEAL and a cop and he taught me to shoot and helped me pick my first handgun. Last year was the first i actually went hunting and got a deer. This year i got a new gun - a Rugger && with the laminated stock and stainless barrel in memorial to my bf who had a gun similar he really liked. the guys around here think it's really cool and now I have a list of who wants to go hunting with me.

Every girl should know how. When I was dating I would not date a girl that didn't know what direction the muzzle is supposed to go. My wife packs a Kahr and is deadly to pop cans with an AR-15.....

Girls and Guns is a little too much for me to handle. I mean a tampon or lipstick holder is one thing, but a person who generally lacks emotional control behind the barrel of a revolver? I'm not sure about that one. She'd have to be so butch that I'd not even recognize her as being a female for me to not be a bit concerned should she be in a "sh....ty" mood and I'm on her "sh---t list" when she has a clutch of such an object as referenced.
If anything "Girls and Guns" would be a cool name for an all girls rock band. Why not consider being a musician?

Congrats for you two. May I suggest you consider a vacation, fishing up in Canada? I fish up on a remote lake, and have never seen a human except for those camping with me. It's a different world, and dirt cheap.

It's great. My mom and aunts are all hunters/fishers. My daugther is a wee bit young to go hunting yet, but she loves fishing. Anything that involves being outdoors is great. Guys really love to share activities like this with our significant other.

Girls who hunt are great, my wife is and avid hunter and a darn good shot, she also shows more restraint in waiting for the perfect kill shot than most guys I know.
Dark Wolf, you forgot to end your most excellent proliferation with a big "Biotch!"
