A girl has hasn't had sex with a guy in two years....the reason for no sex was because they were'nt together. He says he has'nt had sex with anyone else....They broke up partly for not spending much time together. He's in a relationship with her again after a year and a half break up... but he still does'nt spend time with her but he does'nt really take her anywhere other than your average restaurant on special occasions and to the movies at night. He's been pursuing her since she was 14 years old and he was 19. He took her virginity. Will a guy hang on to a girl if he knows he's the only guy that has ever had sex with her and can a guy go 2 years with no sex? He's 27, she's 22. They've previously been in a relationship for 3 years started when she was 16 and he was 21.

1) Will a guy hang on to a girl if he knows he's the only guy that has ever had sex with her? I guess that might be a reason. He must really like her. Or knows that she is safe (no STDs).
2) Can a guy go 2 years with no sex? Yes, many do. But younger guys (27 is still young) have a higher sex drive. Celibate? Maybe. I have doubts. Has he been dating others?

This caught my eye:

That's a flag right there - he is taking up her time, and she allows it to happen.
Doesn't seem to me that he is committed to her, but it does seem that she is waiting for him to commit.
She needs to understand that she is allowing him to control her -- she pretends that they are in a relationship. It is obvious that she is not allowed to pursue other relationships.
I think she should chalk this one up to experience and move on.

Can a guy go two years without sex? It's possible, but awfully unlikely, especially at that age.
The "only guy she has had sex with" thing is probably irrelevant to him. What matters is how he gets along with her now.

i know when i was 27,if i didnt get it at least every night i felt left out.I couldnt go without sex for 2 yrs,hey im 55 and i still need sex at least 3times a week.

yes, been about 1yr 9 months for me. He might hang on to her for that reason, it would really depend on what he wants/ is looking for.

hell no.. he was banging everything he could... and for her only being with one dude... y would she want that??? she'd wake up at 30 and wanna F as many guys as possible to make up for lost time!!!
