For the occassional stress/fatigue headache I take 2 Advil. If it's not any better in 30 minutes I take 2 more and that usually kicks it.

For migraine headaches, which I suffered with for over 15 years, I drink magnesium bicarbonate water. Since beginning magnesium I haven't had a migraine in 6 years. You can find the water recipe at the Magnesium website and read hundreds of testimonials about the cure rate from using Magnesium. Most people buy Magnesium supplements.

Honesty? I have migraine syndrome and so does my 10 year old son. Take 1 ibuprofen (every 6 hours) 200 mg ibuprofen (can be generic ibuprofen, or advil or motrin, all the same), with it also take 1 tylonel, (every 4 hours) Yes, you can take this together as long as your not diabetic. Keep it spaced though, to begin with take them together, then repeat the ibuprofen every 6 hours and the tylonel every 4 hours. We drink a glass of milk after that and go lay down in a dark room with a cold washcloth acrossed out forehead until it passes, normally within 45 minutes. This is what helps. The migraine prescriptions cause liver damages, they won't prescribe it for my son and I would never allow if anyway knowing what I know about that medicine. Try this and I hope you have great relief from it, sure helps us!!

If you can, take excedrin or a generic version of the product. Otherwise, one or two cups of strong coffee and an aspirin or two will work. Also, if the headache is a severe one, make sure you eliminate noise and light until the headache passes. Some people say the migraine patches sold at drug stores work, but I've tried three different brands and none of them have ever done anything for me.
